Shamir Alibhai is the CEO of Domain Capital Corporation and Principal & Director of Domain Mortgage Corp., overseeing $300 million in private commercial mortgages and over $500 million in credit availability. His expertise lies in domestic and global commercial real estate and finance, managing investments in hard assets and acquisitions. He holds an MBA from Harvard University and an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business, Western University. He serves as a Director of Northwyn Wellness Group. Shamir recently has served on multiple boards, including Pearson College of the Pacific, York House School, The Nature Conservancy of Canada B.C., and the National Audit Committee of The Nature Conservancy of Canada as well as a number of companies affiliated with Soros Private Real Estate Partners where he served as a director.  He is a Senior Advisor to Larco Hospitality Inc., and prior to this role was SVP, Investments & Finance for Larco Investments Ltd., for 15 years. He served as CFO and EVP at publicly listed UniHost Corporation, which was the largest hospitality company in Canada before its sale to Goldman Sachs and Westmont Hospitality. He has been past chair of admissions for the Harvard College for British Columbia for over a decade.
